Bellrate

About Us

Bellrate is an independent editorial publication covering UFC round-betting markets for adult readers in the United Kingdom. We exist to turn an under-served niche — the statistical mechanics of rounds, finish rates and in-play markets — into clear, usable analysis for punters who prefer reading data over reading promotions. The site is owned and operated by the Bellrate editorial team and published at Round Betting ufc.

We do not accept paid rankings or sponsored “best sites” placements. We do not run advertorial content dressed up as analysis. Our one job is to help UK readers understand how round markets are priced, what the UK Gambling Commission regulatory perimeter requires, and how to use that understanding responsibly.

Who writes for Bellrate

Bellrate is produced by an in-house editorial team rather than a single named author. Articles are published under a team byline — “UFC Round Betting Analyst” — because the work combines several specialisms: sports statistics, regulatory reading, copy-editing and fact-checking. No individual journalist’s brand is more important than the accuracy of the page. Where a specific expert is quoted, they are named and the source is recorded in our internal reference log.

The editorial team’s working expertise covers combat-sports statistics, UK gambling regulation (UKGC licensing, LCCP obligations, responsible-gambling frameworks) and sports-market microstructure (odds, margins, liquidity, settlement rules). We are not affiliated with any bookmaker, any tipster service or any UFC fighter, camp or promoter.

Our editorial methodology

Every article on Bellrate is built through a fixed four-stage process, in this order:

1. Source selection. We draw only on primary and peer-reviewed sources wherever possible: the UK Gambling Commission’s published statistics and guidance, the UFC’s own records, academic journals covering sports medicine and combat-sports analytics, official regulator statements and reputable industry databases such as IC360 integrity reports. When we cite a number, we cite the source, the publication year and the sample frame.

2. Verification. Every numerical claim is checked against at least one primary source and, where practical, cross-checked against a second independent reference. Fight-level data is verified against official UFC records and the relevant athletic commission’s scorecards. Regulatory figures are taken directly from the UKGC’s published industry statistics, not from intermediaries. When two sources disagree, we quote the range and flag the disagreement rather than pick the more convenient number.

3. Editing and review. Drafts are reviewed by a second editor who has not worked on the original. The review focuses on three things: factual accuracy, regulatory compliance (no unlicensed operator recommendations, no language that could be read as inducing excessive stake) and readability for a UK audience. Style follows British English conventions.

4. Maintenance. Round-betting statistics age quickly. Articles are reviewed on a rolling schedule — at minimum annually, and immediately when the UKGC releases new industry statistics, when a significant integrity case is confirmed or when UFC rule or scheduling conventions change. The date of last review is recorded for every article as of 19 June 2026.

How we handle uncertainty

Betting markets are probabilistic. We do not publish predictions about specific fights or tell readers which bet to place. We describe the structure of the markets, the base rates that inform them and the settlement rules that govern them. Where our analysis carries meaningful uncertainty — small samples, disputed base rates, divisional splits with fewer than 50 bouts — we say so in plain language. No reader should come away from a Bellrate article thinking a round bet is “safe”.

Our editorial independence

Bellrate does not take money from bookmakers in exchange for coverage, rankings or endorsements. We do not publish affiliate-driven “top 10” lists. Where we mention specific operators at all, we describe the general characteristics of the UK-licensed market rather than rank individual brands, because we do not believe brand rankings serve the reader in this niche. If this editorial position ever changes, we will state it plainly on this page and in the relevant articles.

Contact

Editorial queries, source corrections and factual feedback are welcome. Write to us at [email protected] and a member of the editorial team will respond. We read every message and correct confirmed factual errors quickly and transparently.

Our responsible gambling commitment

Bellrate is aimed at adult readers aged 18 and over in the United Kingdom. Gambling carries real financial, psychological and social risk. If you are concerned about your own gambling or someone else’s, free confidential support is available from GamCare on the National Gambling Helpline (0808 8020 133, available around the clock). UK-wide self-exclusion across licensed online operators is available through GamStop. We support the UKGC’s broader framework for safer gambling and the direction of travel set out by the Gambling Commission in recent regulatory reviews.
